Emma Webster

Emma is the Chief Executive of Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC) a UK based information and advice charity with a mission to help older people reach informed decisions about meeting their housing and care needs.  With over a decade of experience in the later living sector engaging with local communities, local and national politicians, she is passionate about championing the wants and needs of older people. Emma is also on the Board of the Housing & Finance Institute.  Previously Chair of Retirement Housing Group.  Emma is an Honorary Alderman and served as a local councillor for 16 years.

My pledge

I pledge to champion accessible and inclusive housing for people of all ages. I will encourage those involved in decision-making to move away from dated and inaccurate stereotypes and champion the need to involve people of all ages in the creation of communities.  Age should never be a barrier to safe, secure and suitable housing.
