Our Approach

As you might guess from the name, Picture This began as an idea; a what-if that became a belief, and ultimately grew into a full-on commitment to doing large scale, residential development differently in our own way.

Guided by strong values, our mission is to build eco-communities where people of all ages have the opportunity to live well. We’re fully committed to always doing the right thing. Building for viable and inclusive communities, working with the local economy with sustainability high on our agenda.

Picture This developments are thoughtfully research and co-designed spaces that support the things that matter – our environment, wellbeing, local communities, sustainability, inclusion and permanence.

Not only do we design and deliver Picture This communities, we also stick around and manage them. This ensures our values continue to make a difference for the common good.

Age-Friendly Homes

We believe all new homes in the UK should feel welcoming and be practical for all ages and abilities, which is why all our homes are delivered to M4 (2) standard (wheelchair adaptable) and 10% are M4 (3) (wheelchair ready). We also consider neuro-diversity design and social isolation, taking lessons from international examples as well as talking to local user groups.

We don’t specialise in “supported living”, or “age-exclusive” developments. Picture This developments offer apartment living  for all, designed and managed  to suit as many people as possible, regardless of age or accessibility need.
